Job Search

(From Friendster) I am still alive and kicking. I have been looking for a job come June when we move. It is easier to find links and ways to find jobs in Utah. It is almost like Colorado does not have the Internet or something. Anyway, that is another story.

Andy and I feel like we will end up at BYU. That means in order to live there we need to make a lot more than we make now. Well, only twice as much as we do now. So, any suggestions?

Anneke is finally taking a bottle and pacifier about a year and half after I wanted her to. Plus, Marcus has been having several potty accidents of late. Geez! I am feeling like a bad mother or something. Both my children are reverting.

For anyone that knows him, Eric Bauer is going through the temple tomorrow. I may or may not be able to go. He told us yesterday and I had already committed to the Michael York thing. If Holly or Bonnie is willing to do it I can go. I feel like a flake, but things happen.

A Birthday and anniversary

(From Friendster) It has been a long week. I have now been married for 5 years and a mom for 4 years. This time four years ago I was at the hospital in labor. Someone we know will be doing that in about 30 weeks, too. We are having a Star Wars party tomorrow and I am not prepared. It should be fun, though. I was looking at pictures from this summer today and I can't believe all that has changed in such a short time. Most changes are good, luckily.

Andy finished grad school applications and now the waiting begins. I am not worried. The festival wants us back if nothing else happens before then. Yeah!

5 Years

(From Friendster)

Andy and I are celebrating our five year anniversary this week. (It is actually January 12, but since school is starting we are doing it tomorrow night.) The kids are staying with his parents and we are going to the bed and breakfast we stayed at the first night of our honeymoon. I am so ready for a break. Being a stay at home mom is harder than I remember it being. Oh well, Monday I start school again for my last semester.

Marcus and Anneke are napping and Andy is finishing graduate school stuff at SUU. It is oddly quiet here. I was reading and holding Marcus when he fell asleep. That has not happened since before Anneke was born. I had Andy take a picture of me holding my big boy. Andy laughed, but I hope I will be able to post it so ya'll can see.

Next Saturday Marcus turns four and wants to have a Star Wars party. I am trying to figure out what to do for a cake and games, etc. Planning an anniversary and birthday party at the same time is a bit difficult. Maybe I can get a Star Wars toy or two and stick it on a cake. Any ideas?

My other exciting news. I can wear a pant size smaller than the one I was wearing when I got married! I was so excited, but am afraid that all the holiday food is going to change this happy new development. Still, it made me feel great!
