This is Marcus performing a scene from the school musical. He was very good. The musical is not until May, but they are working hard.

This week is Nevada Reading Week. Every day is a themed dress up day. Monday was pajama day. Yesterday was Book Character day and Poem in my Pocket. (The teachers and staff can randomly ask you to read a poem throughout the day. They then take the poem and give you a prize in return.) We scoured books and binders to find the perfect poetry to share.

Marcus was sick. His costume was going to be great. Oh, well. Today is Wacky Wednesday (and book tasting; the kids share a blurb of a book and recommend it to people) and tomorrow is school spirit day (and lunch with a loved one).
We have had the icky-sickies. We have been through 3 different bugs since this time last week. It just goes from person to person. I am losing patience and tired of being cooped up. But, Anneke still needs to get it. *sigh* This is the worst part of Spring.
