Things have gotten better since my last post, though nothing has really changed except attitude. Saturday was a nice distraction for me. We had a small get together and I got to focus on food instead of everything else. I learned that without a house having a bunch of people over is not a good idea. The Easter bunny came on Saturday to our house so we could focus on the Savior on Sunday. The kids got webkinz animals. (Anneke's has a popped seam today, so she is very sad.)

Sunday was eventful. We had an "emergency" at the apartment building i manage so I had to leave church early. It turned out someone's cable was out. How essential is that really?! We had fun over at Laura's for dinner. Caspian was in his sad glory. I am still not sure what was/is wrong.

Yesterday was fun. Since it is spring break we went to a rec center called the APEX. It had water slides and a lot of fun stuff. Andy would not let me take the camera because of the water. He is probably right.

Today we went to the Aquarium. It was okay. We are not big crowd fans and it was terribly crowded because of Spring break. Anneke was up most of the night crying for reasons we are still unsure about, so that made it interesting as well. Marcus was scared of anything that was too close to the glass. He kept well away, which was interesting because he has never done that before. With all the melt downs everyone is ready to get back into a routine I think.

I probably shouldn't blog when I am feeling the way that I am. I feel like crying and screaming all at the same time. So much is going on and I feel like things are out of my control.

My baby is not sleeping well at night. That means that Mommy is not getting the sleep she needs either. I am trying to attach a cute picture of him to remind myself how great he is. At 3 in the morning when he is on his 4th time waking up it is hard to remember.

Andy still has not heard from either school in Arizona. Plus, UNLV will not tell Andy what kind of funding he will get in until AFTER he accepts the offer from the school. How can we plan? Plus, he can't get a job outside of school at UNLV, so if the money is not good I have to get a job...Again! They don't have school housing so we have to find outside housing anyway, which is not cheap in Vegas! UGH!

I have no idea where we will be in a few months. I have no idea what to expect. I don't like not being able to take care of my family. Which means it is probably worse for Andy. Hmm...

Last Saturday we spent 5-6 hours in the hospital because Caspian Luke had RSV. They were debating about admitting him overnight. Luckily we were able to come home. I thought he looked sweet in the little hospital gown.

Today we had a chilly egg hunt in the morning. Anneke was upset that Marcus was in an older age group and therefore not with her. She was so sad, she wouldn't hunt eggs anymore after realizing this.

Anneke the fairy

I have to go to the office for my job 3 times a week. They usually have treats, especially around holidays. Today Anneke had a flower that she was using as a wand. She said she was going to use her magic wand to make all the treats hers. (refer to book Alice the Fairy by David Shannon)

School update

Today we heard from Oregon University. Unfortunately Andy has been "Wait listed". That means that if people decline their admission into the PhD program Andy will be contacted and admitted into the program. UNLV has a deadline before we will hear about the wait list from U of O, though, so that looks like a no go. Too bad, it would be pretty. Both Arizona schools are taking their time getting in contact with us. I will let you know as soon as I do. UNLV hasn't sent the packet of acceptance yet, so we may be calling some of you to put us up while we look for something. ;)

Luke rolled over last Monday and then got sick. He hasn't rolled over since. Caspian (same as Luke. We are still working out what to call him.) is having a rough time. I am unsure why. He cries and screams without calming for hours. I am concerned because we were getting on a schedule and he was so happy. I think my youngest is proving to be my biggest challenge as far as my little ones go. Is that so I don't want anymore children?

Marcus just finished the read-a-thon for his school. He read 1260 minutes at home in 21 days. That is quite the feat for a kindergartner.

Wenesday

It is my favorite day of the week. I went on a walk this morning with one of my friends. She is moving to Logan, Utah the same time we move to wherever. At least she knows where she is going. We have been accepted to UNLV (Las Vegas) but I am holding out for Oregon or Arizona. If I am in Oregon i could maybe see the filming of the Twilight movie. Arizona would put me around where Stephenie Meyer is from so I can do the fun events she plans. Yes, I recently got into the Twilight series again.

A couple of weeks ago all the Bailey girls met in Texas sans our husbands. (Except Carianne since it was at her house.) Marcus and Anneke were the only grandkids not there, which was sad. I kept looking for them and missing them. It was the longest I was ever away from them thus far. I tried to put some pictures on here, but I am still figuring it out. Sorry if it doesn't work.
