*I kept expecting to see Uncle Curt with a Banjo or holding a baby (ie Megan). He did tell me that he taught Megan how to play the banjo and they played at her reception. According to him, Kirsten hates banjo music, so there was none at hers. ;)
*I remember being jealous of Elise that she got a baby sister and I really wanted one.
*Uncle Curt called me "Heidi-Ho" and my little sister "Pamelove".
*I thought that Uncle Curt was my mom's brother because then my grandparents would have 2 girls and 2 boys. I was crushed when I found out we were not related.
*On the day of my baptism I had Katie and Elise in my tree house and we were discussing being white like a piece of paper.
*I remember their exchange student Sophie. She seemed so glamorous to me.
*I heard Aunt Debbie laugh and it was like being in my grandparents house in San Antonio. It was so fun to hear it again.
*I don't remember being that much taller than Elise. It didn't help that I was in slight heels and she was not.
Anneke loved Kirsten's dress. She kept admiring it. Her favorite part was the cake, though. She kept walking over to look at it. I was afraid with her accident prone nature she would trip over the table cloth and the cake would come crashing down. Marcus enjoyed the food and filling the small basket with candy. It was very fun and I was very glad I could go. They send their love in your directions. I hope to get together with Elise, but she is one busy girl no matter where she is.
My favorite part was that Uncle Curt recognized me as a Bailey girl and figured out I was Heidi. (He said I was the third or fourth but couldn't be Pammy so I must be Heidi.) Then, he tried to guess what Andy was getting his PhD in. He said my husband looks like a ward clerk and he would guess Engineering as a major. When Andy told him "no", Curt said, "Well, I know it's not English." I laughed so hard. Afterwards Andy said that the Cannon family has a lot of personality. I have to agree! It's nice to have "family".
