I love the magazine Family Fun. The idea of doing one Christmas activity a day was in the latest issue. Marcus and Anneke helped me come up with 24 things. The list is below and I will probably be blogging about several of them. I will put each one in separate pouches with the ornaments for our tree advent calendar.
1. Watch Prep and Landing.
2. Write letters to Santa
3. Wrap gifts
4. Watch The Muppets Christmas Carol
5. Wilson Wonderland Party
6. Make Ornaments and Advent (First Presidency Christmas Devotional)
7. Do something nice for a friend
8. Fake Snow Play
9. Snowball Soap Surprise activity
10. Cactus Garden lights
11. Henderson Winterfest 6-9pm
12. Primary and Ward activity
13. Nativity play and photos, advent (Temple devotional)
14. Make Gingerbread Houses
15. Hot cocoa and Christmas stories
16. Create Cardboard carolers
17. Make Christmas goodies – chocolate cherry mice, fudge, etc.
18. Draw pictures and write notes to family
19. Snowman pancakes
20. Christmas caroling
21. Read the Christmas story in Luke and write gifts for Jesus
22. Christmas cookies and decorate
23. Go on a walk and look at lights
